EPISIOTOMY TRAINER

EPSTR08 EPST08 is for the practice and repair of episiotomy, and repair of perineal lacerations. The full procedure can be carried out. The perineum, vagina and bowel are represented by a replaceable soft tissue pad. It contains superficial muscle structure and relevant layers for suturing. The episiotomy can be sited left, right or midline. The perineum can be distended to replicate delivery. Surface is washable. Clamps are included to stabilize the trainer during use.

PERINEAL LACERATION TRAINING KIT

PLTKIT08 By making their own incision into the soft, lifelike pad, students and instructors can create a traditional episiotomy or nearly any type of first- through fourth-degree lacerations. Embedded within the tissue are discreet structures representing the bulbocavernous muscle, transverse perineal muscle, and external anal sphincter. These muscles can be cut and repaired individually just as they would be in a real patient. The simulated tissue will remain tough and resilient through many training sessions. A fully adjustable stand holds the pad and molded base at any angle. The Perineal Laceration Training Kit includes soft pad with molded base, adjustable stand, dissection instruments in fold-over case, one suture with curved needle, and a soft carrying case. Replacement pads available. It is recommended that only one incision be made through the muscle area of each pad.

   3-Dmed VESICO-URETHRAL ANASTOMOSIS KIT

VUA07 VUA07 is designed to practice resection of the urethra to the bladder. The urethra and bladder are realistic soft tissue materials. The base includes a section of the pubic bone to provide the correct environment. The base has a swing out leg to adjust the angle of the model. The metal clamp allows for the adjustment or replacement of the bladder. There is a twist clamp behind the pubic bone to secure the urethra. The suction feet will hold your practice piece secure. The VUA07 can be used in any 3-Dmed trainer. The TRLCD05 trainer is torso in size and provides a more procedure like platform.

   PYELOPLASTY & NEPHECTOMY TRAINER

PNT08 PNT08 is a model of the left kidney and relevant vessels which are embedded in simulated fat for laparoscopic repair of a pelvi-uroteric junction obstruction (PUJO), and for the ultimate removal of the kidney.
This model provides the use of several skills: dissection and ligation of vessels, tissue plane dissection, anastomosis of the ureter to the pelvis (pyeloplasty). Following a complete dissection of the kidney, the specimen can be removed in a retrieval bag, as one would do in the clinical scenario.

SPB08 provides a stationary platform for practicing surgical techniques. This board has suction cup feet to hold it in place for open techniques or used in our trainer for laparoscopic techniques. The alligator clips will hold a variety of materials, including bowel sections or veins and arteries. The hook side of the Velcro is included to attach to your other practice material, which will stay secure by the loop portion, which is located on the board. (practice material is not included with board)
