3-Dmed is the medical simulation division of 3-D Technical Services. 3-D Technical Services provides models, prototypes and design assistance to engineering and product development groups.
3-Dmed was born when a medical device company came to us for a solution. The request was to find an easy way to demonstrate laparoscopic instruments to surgeons. We answered by developing a cost-effective laparoscopic trainer that is portable and does not need a video tower. Today, our mission remains sound. 3-Dmed’s primary focus is to provide Learning through Simulation We continue to strive for innovation by enhancing our trainers and expanding our product line.
